[비욘드포스트 김신 기자] Digital dentistry company gloud said its participation in the AAP hands-on session has been confirmed. The session is part of the Global Hands-on & Workshop Session scheduled for November 22. It marks gloud's first participation in the AAP.

The 15th Biennial Congress of the Asian Academy of Prosthodontics runs November 21 to 22 at the Seoul Dragon City hotel. The main theme is "Legacy & Vision in Prosthodontics." According to the Korean Academy of Prosthodontics, about 1,500 people are expected to attend.

The hands-on session is part of a Korea Health Industry Development Institute program that connects domestic companies with key opinion leaders at overseas academic conferences. The Korean Academy of Prosthodontics was selected as the organizing body. Six companies will be given a session, each running about 30 minutes.
gloud will run its hands-on program under two themes. The first covers veneer consultation and esthetic treatment using AI simulation. The second covers immediate loading after surgery using a 3D printer and multi-unit abutments. Each session runs 30 minutes in total. Hong Joonkee, director of The Square Dental Clinic, will present.

"Esthetic treatment workflows are moving from analog to digital," said Jinwoo Ji, CEO of gloud. "In this session we will introduce the process to overseas attendees, from consultation simulation through in-clinic printing," he added.

Separately, gloud said it is preparing its first JustScan hands-on event for August 29. The domestic hands-on program leads into the AAP 2026 session in November.

gloud is a digital dentistry company founded in 2020 in South Korea. It operates JustScan, a real-time platform for designing prosthetics and oral appliances, and also supplies JustPrint, a dental-specific 3D printer. As of the first half of 2026, more than 350 dental clinics nationwide have adopted the platform, and cumulative prosthetic and oral-appliance output has surpassed 130,000 cases on the same basis.
